Are you insured?
Yes. Denver Paint Contractors is fully insured and we bring proof of coverage to every estimate. Colorado does not issue a statewide painting license, so insurance and a written scope are the two things every homeowner should ask any painter to show.
What does the 5-year workmanship warranty cover?
It covers our work: the surface preparation and the application. If our workmanship fails within five years, we come back and make it right. The paint itself also carries the manufacturer's own warranty from Sherwin-Williams, PPG or Behr. You get the terms in writing with your estimate.
Do you fix paint jobs done badly by someone else?
Often, yes. A large share of our calls are repairs of work that peeled, bubbled or chalked within a season or two. We find out why it failed, remove what is failing, correct the cause, and repaint so it holds. Send photos and we will tell you what we see.
What paint brands do you use?
Primarily Sherwin-Williams, PPG and Behr, matched to the surface and its exposure. The exact product line and sheen are written on your estimate, and nothing cheaper gets substituted after you sign.
How long does a painting project take?
Most home exteriors take about 3 to 5 working days. A few interior rooms are often 1 to 2 days, and a full interior usually runs several days. Cabinets typically take 3 to 5 days because of drying and curing time between coats.
